The goal of Training & Placement Cell is to provide employment opportunities & world class training to MCA students in leading organizations. The students act as a channel of communication with the industries so department always arrange seminars, workshops and guest lecturers for students to motivate them and to aware them about market situation and new trends in IT. Most of the reputed IT companies including MNCs and CMCs levels and small scale IT firms are giving opportunities to student, according to student’s interest and their capabilities. To achieve this goal, the Training & Placement Cell works towards recognizing the core competencies of students. It believes in 'Industry- Institute Interaction'.
Activities for training and placement Cell
- Personality Development Program:
Departmental training and placement cell have arranged seminars and guest lectures on Personality development by Dr. Kadam J., HOD of MBA department, Dr R.J. Dias Sir, Director of YTC, Satara. Students were very impressed and happy by having great speakers like them.
- Communication Skills: Avinash Kanase Sir, has continuously taught all MCA students about all aspects of verbal and non-verbal communication as excellent communication skills are the heart of good business practices, and the soft skills as it is personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job performance and career prospects.
- Microsoft certification Program:
Training and Placement cell had arranged a Microsoft certification program for C# and ASP.Net languages. Cell has arranged 15 days training session for the exam. 35 Students from MCA III has successfully completed the exam.
- Placement Notices and Updates:
In this activity Placement coordinator was checking the current openings and notices all the students about current openings with the detail schedule which was displayed on the notice board.
- Conducting mock interviews:
The job interview process can be intimidating, but a little practice can go a long way in boosting your confidence and improving your performance. One way to gain experience and overcome your nerves is to participate in a mock interview. This is a simulated interview that lets you practice your interviewing skills while receiving feedback on ways to improve them. In our department’s faculty members conducting mock interviews on a weekly basis for third year MCA students.
- Online and offline exams:
We are conducting online and offline aptitude test for third year and second year students so that student can get the benefits from this Aptitude Question and Answers section.
- Industry institute interaction:
The Industry Institution Interaction means to promote closer interaction between the academic field and the professional field. This cell is functioning in the College and it organises seminars, workshops and industrial training programmes.
