National Level Training Program on Java Full Stack with React JS & AI

The Yashoda Institute’s , Faculty of MCA in association with AICTE and Brainovision, is organizing a national-level Short-Term Training Program (STTP) on Java Full Stack with React JS and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for developing full-stack web applications using Java and React JS while integrating AI techniques. The training will cover both fundamental and advanced concepts, offering hands-on experience through interactive sessions and projects. It is an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their technical expertise and stay updated with the latest industry trends. Teachers Day 2024

In India 5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a staunch believer of education and a well known diplomat, visionary, statesman, scholar, President of India and above all a perfect Teacher. In 1962, when Dr. Radhakrishnan became the President of India, he was approached with a request of celebrating his birthday. He said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if this day is observed as Teachers’ Day”. This showed his love for the teaching profession. From then onwards, this day is celebrated as Teachers' Day in India. Teachers mould the lives of the students by guiding them, by enriching their personalities, by imparting ethical and moral values and have more influence on them. Teacher's Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in many parts of the world. This day is dedicated to the teachers with the sense of respect, appreciation, encouragement and support for their devotion to their students.

The teacher’s day was celebrated by the students of MCA department at Yashoda Technical campus on 5th September to express their gratitude for the immense contribution put forth by their teachers towards their development. Teachers are the cornerstone of students’ future. Students decorated the Classroom with the decorative items on the eve of Teacher’s day and the faculties were welcomed warmly. Each of the faculties was given a gift as a token of gratitude to show the acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put by the teachers towards their development, wishing them a Happy Teachers Day. Teachers Day was celebrated with a lot of anticipation, for the sheer spirit of the occasion. This is a day where we express our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated mentors who have shaped our lives and helped us become who we are today. The event was concluded by the reviews of Head of the Department and all the faculties.

Finally, students requested Dr.S.P. Patil(MCA,HOD) and all faculty members to cut the cake and make the day more memorable and successful.


Induction Program 2024-25

Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara Faculty of MBA and MCA had organized Induction Program for the new Academic Batch 2024-2025. On this program our YTC Founder-President Hon. Prof. Dasharath Sagare sir, Vice-President Hon. Prof. Ajinkya Sagare sir, our Director Dr. V.K. Redasani sir, MBA and MCA HOD and Guest Hon. Prof. Dr. Dnyandeo Mhaske (Service Chancellor, Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil University, Satara) was present on the Induction Program.

Chief Guest Hon. Prof. Dr. Dnyandeo Mhaske Sir addresses the student about the various opportunities & challenges faced as a fresher. He also suggested students to assess HR readiness for future several factors need to be consideration: Technology integration, skill development, talent acquisition & retention. The four levels of success — survival, stability, success, and significance — provide a framework to assess where you are and what steps to take next. Success requires hard work; you need to make some extra effort than others to achieve it. You need to have plans for your success and what it will look like when you achieve it. Try to make your passion your success, and you will never feel like you are pushing yourself to achieve it.

He also shared some points regarding how you will become successful in life:

1. Set clear goals: Identify what you want to achieve in life and set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals to help you get there.

2. Develop a positive mindset: Cultivate a positive attitude towards life and believe in yourself.

3. Work hard: Success requires hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Be willing to put in the effort and time required to achieve your goals.


National Sports Day Celebrations

National Sports Day is celebrated every year on 29 August to commemorate the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand whose magic with the hockey stick can never be forgotten. The day raises awareness about physical activity, sports, and overall health. Furthermore, it lauds the outstanding support given by the families, coaches, and support staff towards the success of athletes. Sports not only develop a sense of friendliness and team spirit but also help develop physical toughness and mental health. It shapes the body, makes it strong and active. National Sports Day was established to commemorate his contributions and to inspire future generations to excel in sports.

Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara. Faculty of MBA and MCA celebrated “National Sports Day”. The inauguration program started with the Saraswati poojan and student speech followed by welcome address delivered by the Sports club student coordinator. Engineering Principal Dr. Vikram Patil sir and Associate Director Prof. R.D. Mohite sir, Department of MBA, MCA, BBA and BCA were attended the program. The day is an opportunity to promote physical activity and sports participation, which are essential components of a healthy lifestyle, particularly among young people. On the Sports day from MCA department more than 40 students were participated in indoor as well as outdoor games like throw ball, carom, chess, table tennis etc.

Alumni Meet 2024-2025

            Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara Faculty of MCA has organized ALUMNI MEET – 2024 for the batches of 2014 and onwards. The alumni meet is to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. The Alumni started arriving in college by 10.30 a.m. and they were received by the registration team and they have been asked to fill the registration form. The Alumni Meet started with a welcome address by the Head Department of MCA Dr. Smita Patil Ma’am. The meeting was graced by the Director Dr. V.K. Redasani Sir. After the all dignitary’s speech one alumni Mrs, Rohini Lokhande shared her experience with all.

             Alumni also interacted with the students and gave motivational talk regarding preparing for higher studies and placements. Students asked many questions regarding placements and the alumni shared their views. Vote of thanks was given by Prof. Khandagale sir and he thanked the various alumni members of the event. He also thanked the management of Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara and MCA faculty members and students for the support and guidance which has made Alumni Meet 2024-25 a grand success.


Tree Plantation 2024-2025

             On 24th August 2024, Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara Faculty of MCA has organized an event on “Tree Plantation in campus garden”. Dr. V.K. Redasani sir, Director (YTC), Dr. Smita Patil Ma’am (MCA HOD), all teaching staff and students were present during the event.

            All staff and students of MCA were present in the Campus Garden. The event started with the speech of our Dr. V.K. Redasani sir, Director, YTC. He has explained about the importance of plantation and has motivated student to plant trees and water it every day until their academic session.

            The tree is the key to a pollution-free environment for a long time because they are responsible for providing oxygen, improving the quality of air, climate amelioration, conserving water, soil preservation, and supporting wildlife. Due to all these reasons, tree plantation has become necessary in the present scenario as pollution is at a peak. Tree plantation is the only way to control pollution to some extent.


Project Exibition 2K24

The Department of Master of Computer Application has organized Project Exhibition - 2K24 for the second year students. Projects are developed on innovative ideas and it has attracted many student visitors to the Project Exhibition 2k24.The Exhibition was held on 05th and 6th Aug 2024 at MCA II Classroom. The major objective of organizing this exhibition was to provide the platform and unleash the potential of the students by showcasing their innovative projects developed in the Second Year either focusing Industry Defined Problems or User Defined Problems and provide an opportunity for the students to demonstrate their learning experience after the completion of their Industry training. The outcome of the PROJECT EXPO was that students could successfully complete their projects on their own and were able to show their project at an extraordinary level and this process boosted their confidence Dr.S.P. Patil, HOD,MCA has formally welcomed the dignitaries and students for the Project Expo2K24. Prof.Khandagale sid and Prof. Chougle sir has inaugurated the session and addressed the session with very knowledgeable insights and well encouraging words that gave an exposure to students. Also, they suggested to work hard to reach their goal and expressed how their projects should impact the society. The organizing coordinator Prof. T.V. Kirdat has made all arrangements for project Expo in a flawless manner. The judges for the Project Expo 2K24 are Prof. Khandagale Sir and Prof. Chougule Sir. The panel members made project judgment based on the projects execution, presentation and the project impact on society.

MCA-I Institutional Rankers

Farewell Ceremony 2024

MCA department has organized the Farewell Ceremony 2024 on the date 25th April 2024 for MCA II. As in Academic Year 2024 these batch are going to be passed out.

 MCA 1st year students have taken an initiative to making this farewell grand. Our students of MCA 1st year have taken the prominence in accordance of arranging the farewell ceremony also they have initiated for giving their seniors refreshment too.

Firstly the program was initiated with the Formal approach as the Higher Authorized persons in Yashoda Technical campus were came for inauguration. There were our Director Dr. V.K. Redasani Sir Presented for the Formal Inaugural Ceremony. Afterwards program was started with the Saraswati Pujan which was done by all the guests.

The program was stepping ahead with the speech of HOD of MCA Dr. S. P. Patil Ma’am.  As she has motivated our students in well efficient manner. She has also given the importance your responsibilities towards Society which is most needed part of being human.


International Level Data Science Using Python- Brain O Vision- AICTE

MCA Department in association with Brain O vision has organized the 5 days’ student workshop on Data Science using Python, held from 19th February to 23rd February 2024. The workshop featured esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, Chief Coordinating Officer of AICTE, who is dedicated to making India the education and knowledge capital of the world. With participation from over 250 host colleges and a staggering 70,000+ students, the event was a resounding success, showcasing the global interest and enthusiasm for data science education.


Swatchata Abhiyan

Cleanliness is one of the most important practices for a clean and healthy environment. To aware all students about cleanliness “Swacchata Abhiyan” programme was organized on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of “Sant Gadge Baba” at  Bara Motechi Vihir, Satara on 24th Feb 2024. All students have actively participated in cleanliness drive. During this activity students have cleaned Bara Motechi vihir. All the faculty members participated in the programme with the message of keeping surrounding clean and green. It is everybody’s responsibility and one should keep themselves and their surroundings clean and hygienic.


World Salutation Day

The MCA department organized a significant event on February 16, 2024, commemorating World Salutation Day. The event aimed to highlight the importance of holistic well-being through practices such as pranayama, surya namaskar, and meditation. Dr. Santosh Itraj, a distinguished guest, graced the occasion and shared valuable insights on these practices. A total of 24 students attended the session.

Following the demonstration, Dr. Itraj engaged the audience in an interactive session, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification, and share their experiences related to the discussed practices. This interactive exchange fostered a deeper understanding of the subject matter and encouraged active participation from the attendees.


Rotary Club Satara and Kothrud Youth Leadership Workshop

Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of MCA and MBA along with Rotary Club Satara and Kothrud organized a Youth Leadership Seminar aimed at empowering young minds with essential leadership skills and knowledge about brain power and energy. The seminar comprised many insightful sessions conducted by eminent speakers.

Key topics covered included effective communication, decision-making, teamwork, and goal setting. Participants actively participated in discussions and interactive activities, gaining valuable leadership insights. Dr. Sumedha Bhosale, a renowned expert in neuroscience, captivated the audience with her session on the power of the brain. She discussed the importance of understanding brain functions, memory enhancement techniques, and strategies for improving cognitive abilities. Practical tips on stress management, relaxation techniques, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle were shared, empowering the students to prioritize their energy levels for peak performance.


Pariksha Pe Charcha Addressed by Hon. Prime Minister

Faculty of MCA has organized Online परिक्षा पे चर्चा on 29th Jan 2024 for MCA I and MCA II students.

In the seventh edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam today. Over 4,000 students attended the event, officials say. More than 205.62 million students, along with over 14.93 million teachers and 5.69 million parents, have enrolled for PPC 2024. The proceedings were being streamed on various social media platforms, including the Education Ministry, the Prime Minister’s Office, PIB, and others. Talking to students, PM Modi explained that the stress is of three types – induced by parents, peers and self-induced as well. He said that students should compete with themselves and not worry about anyone else in the exam hall. Calling the students as the architects of future of India, PM Modi said the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme is like a pariksha for him too.

Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara has organized नमो नव मत् दाता संमेलन on 25th Jan 2024. On this event as chief guest Shrimant Chatarpati Udaynraje Bhosale sir was present. Our President Hon. Prof. Dasharath Sagare sir welcomed the guests with bouquets. After that the online session was started. Our Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi sir interacted online with a college students. He gave information about voting. He told the students that the next future depends on your opinion.


Cloud Computing Guest Lecture

 

The Training and Placement Opportunities cell has organized a Guest session on “An Interactive session and Hands on Training on Power of Data & Cloud Infrastructure” for the students of MCA and Engineering. The guest lecture on Cloud Computing was conducted on 01/12/2023 at Yellow Seminar by Mr. Amol Barsagade, Founder and Director, Unimorph Consulting, Pune. The session aimed to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills related to leveraging data and cloud infrastructure for enhanced business capabilities.

Yashoda Technical Campus College of Architecture, Satara has organized Satara Zonal Basketball Tournament 2023-24 on 11th Oct 2023 at Shahu Stadium, Satara. Our MCA department also participated on the Zonal sports.

The inauguration commenced at 11.00 am. The event inaugurated by the chief the guest Mrs. Arnika Gujar-Patil, (Head coach Indians Women’s Team). Mrs. Vaishali Khade,  given the best wishes to all basketball players end ended her speech with some motivational messages
