Prof. P.S. Matkar, Head of the Civil Polytechnic Department at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, attended a 5-day industrial training at L&T Skill Training Academy, Mumbai, from 9th to 13th December 2024. Organized by MSBTE, the program covered smart cities, AI in construction, water management, modern software, and industry challenges, along with hands-on sessions and soft skills training.

Prof. Matkar was recognized as the most punctual participant during the closing ceremony. The knowledge gained will enhance departmental growth and strengthen the industry-academia connection.

Pallavi Ketan Jadhav, a dedicated lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department, has successfully passed the prestigious NPTEL course titled "Remote Sensing Principles & Applications", a 12-week program conducted from July to October 2024 by IIT Bombay.
